TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Misericordia app, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, we recommend that you do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Misericordia is a confession app that allows users to record their confessions in an intuitive and dynamic way through an examination of conscience in the form of a questionnaire and in a reflective format. We are aware of the seriousness of the confidentiality of confessions, therefore all information is stored exclusively on the user's device and is not sent or stored on external servers.
3. Privacy and Security
- Local Storage: All information entered into the app is stored locally on the user's device.
- No External Storage: The app does not send, store or share user information with external servers.
- User Responsibility: The user is responsible for maintaining the security of their device and the information contained therein. To increase protection, we have included login and print blocking functionality. We also recommend that you use the application in airplane/offline mode to avoid distractions.
4. Proper Use
You agree to use the application only for personal and non-commercial purposes. It is forbidden to use the application for any illegal or unauthorized activity. Confession is a sacrament of the Holy Catholic Church instituted by Jesus Christ himself, therefore the application is intended to help make better confessions, but does not replace the need to confess before a priest to obtain absolution of sins.
5. Limitation of Liability
Misericordia is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from the use of the application. Use of the application is the sole responsibility of the user.
6. Changes to the Terms of Use
Misericordia reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be published in the application and will come into effect immediately after publication.
